I earned my bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Florida State University before completing the M.D./Ph.D. program at the University of Illinois, where I received both a master’s degree and Ph.D. in Microbiology, followed by my Doctor of Medicine. I completed my residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and a fellowship in Forensic Pathology through Augusta University and the Medical College of Georgia. I am board certified in both Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology. I have been involved in providing gender affirming care for as long as I have had a medical license
As a transgender physician, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work. I am passionate about providing compassionate, affirming care and is excited to serve the Savannah community. Outside of medicine, I enjoy reading, attending the theater, and rowing.
